Endorsing mCare Digital as a provider for Agency Managed Participants under PACE

If you are an Agency Managed NDIS participant, you will need to endorse mCare Digital as a provider for home and living supports. This endorsement allows us to be recorded on your plan and make claims against your NDIS funding when we deliver supports to you.

To endorse mCare Digital:

  1. Contact your NDIS representative or call the NDIS National Contact Centre at 1800 800 110.
  2. Inform them that you wish to endorse mCare for home and living supports.
  3. Provide our provider details:
    • Provider Name: mCareWatch
    • Provider Number: 4050006555

You can update or change this endorsement at any time by speaking with your NDIS contact or calling the NDIS National Contact Centre.

What is the NDIS?

There are around 4.3 million Australians who have a disability. When it is fully rolled out, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will provide about 460,000 Australians aged under 65, who have permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. For many people, it will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.

The NDIS can provide all people with disability with information and connections to services in their communities such as doctors, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as information about what support is provided by each state and territory government. How do I get approved?

If you visit the am I eligible page, you will find an NDIS checklist you can read to see if you are eligible.

If you meet the criteria and you would like to become a participant, call NDIS on 1800 800 110 and ask to make an Access Request.

If you are already receiving disability support services, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will contact you when it becomes available in your area.

Please remember, if you do not receive any disability supports, make sure the NDIS is available in your area before you call to make an Access Request.

There are 3 aspects of your plan to consider:

  1. Creating your plan
  2. Using your plan
  3. Reviewing your plan and goals

To get ready for your planning meeting, think about your immediate support needs and your current and future goals. A comprehensive list of agencies and organisations that could assist you with the process could also be found on the NDIS websit. Follow this link for further information.

mCareWatch is an approved and authorised NDIS provider.

It means your plan could include the mCareWatch through the NDIS funding. We would need to provide you with a quote so please contact us for details.

mCareWatch is approved to provide support for the following categories:

  • Personal Mobility Equipment
  • Assistive Prod – Household Task
  • Assist Prod- Pers Care/Safety

  1. STEP 1: Request a Quote Click on ‘Request a Quote’, add the required details and a quote will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
  2. STEP 2: Accept a Quote Once you have received your quote and it meets your requirements, you can accept our quote by emailing us back confirming you would like to proceed.
  3. STEP 3: Invoice and Agreement Form When the quote has been approved, an invoice and a Client Agreement form will be sent to you. The Client Agreement form has all of the information we need to pre-set the device ready for delivery. This form will need to be completed and returned to our Customer Care team.
  4. STEP 4: Payment There are 3 ways to claim a product purchase funded by NDIS:
    • SELF MANAGED: If you are using self managed NDIS budgets, you will need to purchase the item from mCareWatch and pay us for the item, then claim the funds back from NDIS through the MyPlace Portal.
    • NDIS AGENCY MANAGED: If you are using NDIS managed budgets, you will need to get your Local Area Coordinator, Planner, or Support Coordinator to ensure the purchase amount is included in your plan.
    • THIRD PARTY PLAN MANAGED: If you are managed by a third party plan manager, then we can invoice the plan manager, and then they claim from NDIS.
  5. STEP 5: Receive your device Your device is all setup and delivered to your nominated address ready to use. A follow up call from our Customer Care team will be made to ensure the device has been received and to answer any questions you may have.
